The Pokémon Company isn’t going to make football fans or Pokémon fans wait two weeks to see their $5 million Super Bowl 50 ad. Instead they opted to release it today on their official YouTube channel.
This particular ad is actually the extended cut, making it twice as long as the spot that will air during the big game’s third quarter.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the franchise and The Pokémon Company is going all out with anniversary themed hardware, a rerelease of the original Game Boy games, a rerelease of the original trading card game series and multiple legendary Pokémon giveaways.
