CoroCoro, a Japanese monthly manga magazine has often been on the forefront of major Pokémon news. This month’s new issue of the magazine reveals a brand new Pokémon, Magiana. CoroCoro has described Magiana as a “man-made Pokémon” and claims that it is over 500 years old. No type has been confirmed, however it is described as having a “metallic body”, suggesting it is a steel typed Pokémon.
Magiana has only been revealed in the context of an upcoming feature film Volcanion and the Exquisite Magiana. This year does mark the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise and it would not be out of the realm of possibility to see Magiana in a new generation of Pokémon games in the upcoming year.
