Wow, it looks like Naughty Dog stole concept art from Ubisoft

This morning Naughty Dog put out a new story trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The trailer looks amazing, but might have more thievery than it intended. Viewers noticed a picture in the trailer that is identical to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag concept art.

Naughty Dog animator Jonathan Cooper may be to blame, at least that’s what Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed III director Alex Hutchinson seems to think.

Cooper worked with Hutchinson on Assassin’s Creed III¬†before moving on to Naughty Dog to work on Uncharted 4. The art could have simply been used as a place holder until Naughty Dog got something else, but it’s definitely Ubisoft’s work. Check out the photos and see for yourself.

UPDATE: Naughty Dog has reuploaded the first trailer with a new image replacing the Ubisoft concept art.

UPDATE #2: Naughty Dog has apologized.
