Two new Pokémon game trademarks surface ahead of Nintendo Direct

Two new Pokémon trademarks in the European Union were posted on NeoGAF this morning. Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Sun may be the next set of Pokémon games that will coincide with the franchise’s twentieth anniversary.

Tomorrow, February 26th at 10AM EST, Nintendo will stream a special Pokémon themed Nintendo Direct. It is expected to be short, so with Pokkén Tournament, Pokémon Go and Red/Blue/Yellow’s rerelease, a new pair of main Pokémon games was uncertain. With these trademarks and the recent reveal of an entirely new Pokémon, it would appear much more likely.
