During today’s AMD’s conference at the Game Developers Conference, Ubisoft announced a partnership with FOX and Practical Magic to create Assassin’s Creed VR Experience. The word “experience” in the title alludes that this is not a video game, something that Matthew Lewis, the president of Practical Magic VR, did confirm.

Based on the upcoming feature film, Assassin’s Creed VR Experience was filmed alongside the movie which shot in several countries including the United Kingdom and Spain. The film finished shooting in January and is most likely to release on December 21 this year, but the virtual reality tie in was not given a release window.
