Visit Madagascar in Uncharted 4’s 15 minute demo

Anyone who has played the Uncharted series is familiar with exploring beautiful scenery looking for all sorts of treasure. Naughty Dog’s latest demo shows just how much that aspect of the franchise has grown.

For over fifteen minutes we get a look of an open world section of Madagascar, with Sully, Nathan and Sam cruising around the dirt roads searching for lost pirate treasure. As the group explores, the characters engage in plenty of the witty small talk that Uncharted has become known for.

Towards the end of the demo we get to see a few of the new combat features. Nathan Drake can tag nearby enemies in order to keep track of their whereabouts when things get out of control, which they often do. Drake also shows off a new rope take-down, jumping from high up and swinging down on top of an enemy before knocking him out.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches digitally and physically on May 10th.
