In a quick post to the Xbox Wire, Adam Fletcher, the Director of Community for Gears of War 4 developer The Coalition announced some long awaited details for the next chapter in the Gears of War saga. On October 11, JD Fenix picks up his Lancer and leads the fight against a new enemy, The Swarm. Fletcher also detailed the Gears of War 4 open and closed betas taking place this month:
Beginning on April 18, fans who’ve played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One orWindows 10 will be able to join the beta on Xbox One, which will expand to all Xbox Live Gold members on April 25. Entertainment Weekly also published an interview with The Coalition’s studio head Rod Fergusson, along with the official box art for Gears of War 4.
