The sandbox roleplaying game Dragon Quest Builders is finally heading west. Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest Builders will release in North America and Europe this October for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Dragon Quest Builders has been out in Japan since the beginning of this year.

The game might look an awfully lot like Minecraft but the game also features RPG type quests and combat gameplay. Players assume the role of the Legendary Builder, the only person who can restore the destroyed realm of Alefgard back to its former glory.

This week was also the 30th anniversary of Dragon Quest,  the popular and longest running JRPG series.
