Bethesda’s E3 Plans May Include a Skyrim Remaster
Eurogamer is reporting on rumors of Bethesda’s line up of announcements during their E3 press briefing next week. The report includes a remaster of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This might come as a huge surprise to some gamers, but it probably shouldn’t. wFallout 4’s development was kickstarted when Bethesda ported Skyrim to the Xbox One. Eurogamer points to industry insider Shinobi602, who has a very accurate track record when it comes to predicting these sort of announcements.
The report also claims that Bethesda will announced The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2 as well as revive the cancelled game Prey 2. Prey 2 was cancelled in 2014 but the rumor is that developer Arkane Austin has taken the project and it is currently back in development.
Other notable things to look out for are Dishonored 2 gameplay as well as more Fallout 4 downloadable content.
Eurogamer’s full report can be found here.
Bethesda’s E3 press briefing will take place on Sunday, June 12 at 7pm PST.
