IGN’s Watch Dogs 2 ad went live ahead of schedule
Tomorrow is the world premiere of Watch Dogs 2, but a slip up over at IGN led to an advertisement going live a little early.
The biggest thing to come out of this mix up is the game’s potential release date of November 15, but if you look to the image behind that you can see what appears to be the Golden Gate Bridge, essentially confirming that Watch Dogs 2 will take place in San Francisco. Watch Dogs took place in Chicago, with protagonist Aiden Pearce. Watch Dogs 2 is expected to have a new protagonist and the individual in the ad only reinforces that notion.
We’ll find out for sure tomorrow at 9am PST when Watch Dogs 2 world premiere goes live. Expect even more Watch Dogs 2 during Ubisoft’s E3 press briefing on Monday June 13 at 1pm PST.
