Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, announced last month that console versions of the game were “actively being worked on“. Today Barone posted on Stardew Valley‘s website to announced that the ports will be coming Q4 this year.

This is excellent news for fans of farming life simulators such as Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons, as Stardew Valley is currently only available for PC. Barone added that Mac and Linux versions are still in development and will come at a later date.
Stardew Valley will release later this year for Wii U, Xbox One and PlayStation 4
