Sony E3 conference livestream and liveblog

6:01 p.m. We’re off! We start with a full orchestra playing a very ominous theme.

6:02 p.m. After a haunting musical piece we see a trailer, likely for the new God of War. KRATOS!

6:07 p.m. We see Kratos in nordic gear traveling a forest with his son.

6:08 p.m. No more Chains of Olympus but you get a badass axe instead.

6:09 p.m. Kratos is taking on a giant and it looks amazing, graphics look very impressive.

6:12 p.m. Simply titled “God of War” logo fades as Shawn Layden takes the stage for Sony.

6:19 p.m. Sony Bend studio appears as we get a trailer for their newest game.

6:20 p.m. “Day’s Gone” takes place in the post apocalypse.

6:21 p.m. The Last Guardian makes another appareance at E3 with another trailer featuring our main protagonists and what looks like an evil version of the giant cat looking thing we travel with.

6:23 p.m. Last Guardian finally has a release date of October 25.

6:23 p.m. We are now treated a Horizon demo leaving her village.

6:24 p.m. Horizon also features item crafting, as the main character made some explosive items.

6:26 p.m. The game will also feature a dialog tree, making you chose your characters respsonses to NPC’s.

6:30 p.m. The game looks like a blast to play, you have many ways of taking down your opponents and dodging them.

6:31 p.m. We finally get gameplay from Detroit, Quantic Dream’s new game.

6:33 p.m. Very dramatic scene with moral dilemmas where you can build your own story.

6:34 p.m. Staying true to Quantic Dream’s nature, the game has A LOT of outcomes that are influenced by your decisions. No release date though.

6:36 p.m. New gameplay footage that uses PlayStation VR featuring some very creepy house and mannequins.

6:39 p.m. We’re getting Resident Evil VII, coming Jan. 24, 2017.

6:41 p.m. PlayStation VR is coming October 13, priced at $399.

6:43 p.m. Very cool looking space game that will be compatible with PS VR.

6:44 p.m. “Farpoint” is the name of title, no release date give.

6:45 p.m. Special Star Wars VR mission for Battlefront.

6:46 p.m. Joker voiceover narrating something clearly Batman related.

6:47 p.m. Batman Arkham VR coming exclusive to PlayStation in October by rocksteady.

6:47 p.m. New Final Fantasy XV trailer, featuring PS VR.

6:48 p.m. New VR game set up in space, no title yet. Appears you can travel across the solar system.

6:51 p.m. Space battles above earth? I’m sold. Game looks pretty amazing.

6:52 p.m. AAAAND it looks like its Infinity Warfare.

6:54 p.m. Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare comes out November 4.

6:55 p.m. Call of Duty Remastered will be available a month before to PS4 users who purchase Infinity Warfare.

6:57 p.m. Crash Collection Remastered is coming to PS4.

6:58 p.m. LEGO Star Wars on stage, coming in two weeks.

7:01 p.m. Andrew House takes the stage to talk about commitment with other developers.

7:02 p.m. Hideo Kojima IN THE HOUSE!

7:03 P.M. Getting a glimpse of Kojima’s new PlayStation exclusive game.

7:05 p.m. Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus is the main character in the game.

7:05 p.m. Death Stranding is the name of Hideo Kojima’s exclusive PS4 game.

7:06 p.m. New game by Insomniac games featuring Spider Man!!!!

7:08 p.m. Sony to close the show with a gameplay demo of “Day’s Gone”

7:16 p.m. After a very exciting “Day’s Gone” demo, Sony ends their E3 press briefing.
