Blizzard has posted a help wanted ad for Diablo
Are you knowledgeable and passionate about Diablo games? Do you know what makes a video game fun to play? Most importantly, have you shipped multiple AAA products as a game/creative director? If you answered yes, you might want to apply for an open position over at Blizzard Entertainment.
A job listing has been posted on Blizzard’s careers webpage looking for a game director. More specifically, a game director for an unannounced Diablo project. After more than a decade as Diablo‘s game director, Jay Wilson left Blizzard, allowing Josh Mosqueria to fill his shoes. After the job listing was posted, Polygon has confirmed with Blizzard that Mosqueria has stepped down and is no longer at Blizzard.
“With Diablo III in a good place at this point, Josh felt that now was a good time to pursue other opportunities with minimal impact to the team,” Blizzard said in an email. “We’ll be filling the director role either from within Blizzard or externally.”
More job listings have also been posted for the unannounced Diablo project. Be it a new expansion for Diablo III or a sequel, something big is definitely in the works.
