Blizzard is expected to announced Starcraft HD later this summer
Korean outlet iNews24 is reporting multiple sources claiming that Blizzard is working on an HD version of Starcraft. Sang, who tipped the story to Kotaku, translated a section of the report:
Today, multiple sources with knowledge of Blizzard internal plans said that Blizzard will reveal StarCraft HD to the public this September. The StarCraft HD remastered version will retain the original gameplay and is said to have improved graphics resolution and user interface (UI).
Starcraft is still incredibly popular in Korea. Sang also said to expect Blizzard to officially announced Starcraft HD in September, sometime around the Starcraft II World Championship Series.
