Gotta snap ’em all, again

Over 15 years after its original release on the Nintendo 64, the classic Pokémon photography game Pokémon Snap is coming to Virtual Console on the Wii U. The game takes players to Pokémon Island, where they travel on rails through various environments taking photos of over 60 pokémon to earn high scores based on a number of factors. The Virtual Console version of the game will be compatible with practically every controller scheme available for the Wii U.

Pokémon Snap will cost $9.99 and will launch on the Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow on January 5.
