Nintendo Switch will release worldwide March 3rd
Nintendo just finished their live presentation detailing their new console, the Nintendo Switch. The system has been referred to as a home console you can take on the go. The presentation started with the most anticipated news, the release date and the price. On March 3, 2017, the Nintendo Switch will release for $299.99.
With that out of the way, Nintendo was ready to show off some of the software coming to the Nintendo Switch, both first party and third party games. A new Mario game titled Super Mario Odyssey was revealed and announced for release during the holiday window of this year.
Other notable games include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Fire Emblem Warriors. Third party titles included Shin Megami Tensei, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Minecraft and EA Sports FIFA. The biggest and arguably most exciting announcement came at the end of the show when it was revealed at the end of a new trailer that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be a launch title, releasing on March 3.
