Lego Dimensions will receive no additional content
After two years and dozens of expansions, the toys to life game Lego Dimensions has ended development. The game featured an eclectic mix of franchises including Ghostbusters, Sonic the Hedgehog, Adventure Time and Doctor Who. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment made the announcement this morning via Twitter.
From building and rebuilding to the most bricktacular mash-ups, the Multiverse would be nothing without our amazing community. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/NEDbBXqjyZ

The good news, as mentioned above, is that support will continue for existing expansion packs. Lego Dimensions is one of multiple toys-to-life games, a model that consumers may no longer be embracing. The game was originally expected to have a three year run.
